SP Recovery is a small family run business. Owner of SP recovery is a great guy called Steve Porter, Local man who has been in the business just over 25 years. On his team he has his wife Christina Porter & 3 Kids. Steve is so dedicated to his job he once left the alter when marrying his wife to answer a breakdown recovery call. You can ask him about this if he the one who picks you up, which is always possible as he never off the road.

After breaking down on route to a job, Boswell roofing & Builders gave us a call. We was able to recover them to a local mechanics who we recommended. From call out, to been on the way again was no more than 3 hours. Happy Customers.

Anyone call a taxi?
They are never off the road, and we all rely on them when we need to get somewhere quick.. So it was important for us to get to them quick too. Job completed within 40 minutes.
Off the tracks at Larne Railway Station
While working at the station, these guys was stuck in a tough spot, One of our drivers was able to get traffic moving again in no time. Hopefully no trains was harmed during the recovery.

First call, buying a truck
After alot of time spent working on which direction we would go with the business it was time to buy a truck. Might sound like an easy task, but it actually turned out to be a 6 month venture.
The Power Of 5
We are 5 years deep, at this point we have been using word of mouth within our local area and have constantly been recovering cars and light commercial vans. This was not easy as motivation needed to be high especially at the start
Onwards & Upwards
Finally, we have managed to secure a good few contracts transporting vehicles for local garages, dealerships and mechanics… We got our 3rd truck which was able to load heavier vehicles too. Its getting easier….
How Many Is Too Many
Sometimes we just don’t know if there is enough hours in the day, Which is great, as we grow our team and our fleet we do sometimes wonder if there is more we could do. Thinking back, not even we saw us getting this far.
